Searching for Marci Modica--FOUND!!

Marci was also at our reunion back in 2000, but this time we haven't been able to find an email address for her. We think she was living in Salina at the time of our 10th, and some classmates think maybe she was working as a stylist. A search on USsearch.com shows Marci Hogan as an alias for Marci Modica, so this might be her married name. There is a Marci Hogan listed at 411.com, but we have no idea if this is our classmate. Tentative RSVPs

We're currently trying to select a venue for our main reunion event on June 12, but in order to do so, we really need to figure out approximately how many people will be there. The class of 1988 had about 75 classmates plus their guests at their 20th, but the class of 1989 only had about 35, so it's kind of hard to estimate based on those numbers! We're not asking for firm commitments at this point, but it would be super helpful to know who is tentatively planning on being there next summer so we know how big of a venue we actually need. I set up a new reunion event on Facebook to make it easy for those of us actually on Facebook to RSVP, and we already have over 40 people who have responded with a tentative yes or maybe. If you aren't on Facebook, please send us an email or leave a comment below to let us know that you're hoping to attend. If you are on Facebook, please RSVP for our event, even if you're just expressing your regrets. We want to make sure we select a venue that's big enough for everyone!

Searching for Adrianne Griffin--FOUND!!

Adrianne is another person who came to our 10 year reunion who hasn't been reached this time around. I believe she was living in Salina at that time, but we really don't have any other good information about her. I found a listing for her on Reunion.com (which is now apparently mylife.com) and emailed her through that website, but I haven't received a response. A search on 411.com doesn't indicate that there are any Adrianne Griffins still in Salina, but ussearch.com shows that Adrianne M. Griffin from Salina now lives in Ocala, FL. Does anyone have any other information that would be helpful in trying to contact Adrianne?

Committee Volunteers Needed

It recently came to our attention that we could use a few more people on the reunion planning committee. Several people who had hoped to be involved have now discovered that they won't be able to participate as much as originally planned. If you have any interest in party planning or any great ideas for our upcoming event, we could really use your help! The more people we have on the committee, the less work everyone will have to do! It would be especially helpful if at least one person on the committee actually lived in Salina, so that we have someone who is familiar with the local restaurants, hotels and other locations.

Searching for Don Gebhardt--FOUND!!

**UPDATE--Thanks to Lesli, who provided us with a mailing address for Don. When he recently joined Facebook, we got his email address too!**

It seems like Don's email should be an easy one to come by because we actually know quite a bit about him. He works for the post office in Salina, and he even has a MySpace page that was pretty easy to find through a Google search. However, since he only accepts messages from his MySpace friends, and since he only accepts friend requests from people who already have his email address, we don't have any way to send him the info about the reunion! Surely someone out there has an email address for Don? If anyone in Salina runs into him can you have him email us at salinacentral1990 (at) gmail.com???

Searching for Billi Jo Beck--FOUND!!

The next attendee of our 10th that we haven't located yet for our 20th is Billi Jo Beck. Billi Jo is definitely in the pictures of our last reunion, but I don't recall having talked to her to find out what she's doing. A Google search for her came up with several hits on a Billi Jo Beck in Minnesota, but since there were no good pictures, I couldn't tell if it was the Billi Jo from our class. Searching for Andrea Balthazor--FOUND!! :)

For the next installments in our "Where Are They Now?" series, we'll focus on people who attended our 10th reunion. My hope is that we'll be able to find them fairly easily because they weren't lost 9 years ago, and because they hopefully have an interest in our upcoming reunion as well!

Our first post in this installment will focus on Andrea Balthazor, who I don't think is pictured in the shots of our 10th reunion. I definitely remember talking to her at our picnic at Central that afternoon though! When I Googled Andrea's name, I did get one promising hit that might be her from an alumni website of a college in Oklahoma, but when I emailed the provided address I didn't get a reply.
